COURT WEDDING CONTINUATION

So they finally called our names!!! So nervous, we were both shaking! We entered the court, while everybody else stayed behind. Between kisses and laughters, we all took our seats. The judge entered making lots of jokes like "Was Claude family of Tchami (in this case- Alphose Tchami, the Cameroonian ace footballer who played for BOCA)? He also joked on how Cameroon beat us (Argentina) in 1990! The atmosphere started being much relaxed, as everyone and laughed and laughed and laughed! Then came the usual questions like "Will Claude take care of me, in sickness and in health? Will he buy me everything I asked for? Will I care for him and love him for the rest of our lives? YES, YES, WE DO! WE DO! WE DO!

Sign here, and voila! We are married! Here is your family booklet, and the rings! Kissing, kissing and more kissing! And is it raining rice! (enough for feeding a family of 4 -Rice throwing on the couples is traditional, done as the couples walk out of the court room to meet up with family outside for celebration)...

On Friday we woke up quite early, had breakfast with the girls at home, and we received Bernice, who came all the way from Washington to be with us during the

special moments. I must remind you that Atsu and Pato were with us already! The girls and me (Pao) went to the hair salon to get prettier and ready for such a special day, and Claude remained at home with B. But for Claude there was a surprise waiting. Hilla, his brother, flew in to be with him during this time! I think we got him this time!!!!! Not expecting it!

Going back to the girls, we got ready (hair and make-up), then Martu picked us up to go to the court. Claude came with Lu (my little sis), Hilla, and Bernice and we all met there.I think at this point we were both quite nervous. People started arriving, photographer, video camara guy. THE COURT WAS FULL!!!!! Here are some pics from the waiting period!

Hola! Esta entrada ya pertenece a "Pao y Claude ya se han casado". Antes que nada les queremos agradecer a todos por haber hecho de nuestro casorio dos días maravillosos. Gracias a los que han viajado de lejos y de no tanto para estar con nosotros, y aquellos que nos han acompañado con el pensamiento (que han estado en nuestros corazones todo el tiempo). Hey! This entry already belongs to "Pao and Claude have already gotten married". We just wanted to thank everybody for making the two days of our wedding so wonderful. Thanks for those that had to travel from far and did not have so much extra time to be with us, and to those that have been with us in thoughts (and remained in our hearts all the time).
